Books: Vol. 2

Books is a self-directed series of 3D illustrations inspired by ideas that stayed with us long after reading.

Rather than illustrating the books literally, each piece transforms a central theme into a playful visual metaphor—using expressive characters, unexpected materials, and a little absurdity.

Each entry is accompanied by a brief note about the book, a “Pairs well with” selection of complementary titles, and a list of related books for further reading. Some reinforce ideas we find persuasive; others challenge them—or present arguments we disagree with but believe are necessary to understand the subject more fully. Together, these connections turn the series into a visual reading map across different authors, subjects, and points of view.

Volume 2 continues the experiment with a new group of books and characters, pushing the materials, lighting, and visual humour further while keeping each idea clear at a glance.
