Al Razi: Islam’s Favorite Heretic

Working with different clients always means learning something, and this video about the famous philosopher, doctor, and prolific writer, Al-Razi for EXMNA taught us a lot about the great man. This video showcases both Al Razi’s contributions to medicine, but also how his debates within Islam have been erased. While he might now be threatened as a heretic or apostate, in his day Al Razi was respected and honoured and had the freedom to express his views.
